With Eventdrive, you can quickly import a list that includes both your attendees and their guests.
This feature simplifies the attendee management by allowing you to centralize all attendees information in one place.
How to import your attendees list including their guests?
You can easily import your attendees list, along with their guests.
To do so, go to the Invite menu, then the Attendees submenu. The attendee center will appear.
Next, click on the Import button in the center of the screen.
A window will open allowing you to download the sample file.
This file will allow you to enter all the information you have about your attendees, as well as their guests.
When importing an attendees list, the first name, last name, and email address are required and mandatory information to collect.
⚠️ Please note that you must not modify the names of the columns.
The columns first_name, last_name, and email are mandatory, and their naming cannot be changed.
Whether for the attendee or their guest(s), it is necessary to create a separate row for each individual.
The columns guest_of_first_name, guest_of_last_name, and guest_of_email (visible above in columns D, E, and F) allow you to import the main attendee's information for each guest.
For each guest, it is necessary to complete the main attendee's information to link the two attendees.
The guest_of_first_name column must be filled in for the guest and corresponds to the first name of the main attendee.
The guest_of_last_name column must be filled in for the guest and corresponds to the last name of the main attendee.
The guest_of_email column must be filled in for the guest and corresponds to the email address of the main attendee.
Example:
In the image above, Alexandre Dupont (main attendee) is accompanied by Jean Perrier.
Katia Pommier is the +1 of Pierre Jardin. Here, Pierre Jardin is the main attendee for Katia Pommier.
Once the file is complete, you just need to import it into Eventdrive.
To do so, click again on the Import button in the attendee center.

Once the import is complete, you will receive a confirmation email informing you that the attendee import has been finalized and that X rows have been imported.
If any errors occur during the import, a text file detailing the encountered errors will be attached to the email.
