In order to provide as much information as possible to your event's attendees, you would like to give them a list of speakers / sponsors / exhibitors. Add a contributor or an entire list, in this article learn how to do so.
Adding a Contributor
Step 1
In the Eventdrive administration tool, go to "EVENT INFO", then click on the type of contributors you would like to add among "Exhibitors", "Sponsor" and "Speaker".
Step 2
Click on "Add a service X".
"X" stands for the type of contributors you want among "Exhibitors", "Sponsor" and "Speaker".
Step 3
If you want, you can rename the service created by default.
Then, click on "Add a X" depending on the service where you are.
"X" stands for the type of contributors you want among "Exhibitors", "Sponsor" and "Speaker".
Fill in the name and description of each element you have added on the list and click on "Save".
Adding several Contributors
Step 1
In the Eventdrive admin tool, go to "EVENT INFOS" then click on the type of contributors you would like to add among "Exhibitors", "Sponsor" and "Speaker".
Step 2
Fill out the attached template file for your service. Please keep the original column order and headings.
Step 3
Edit the service in question thanks to the options button and click on "Edit".
In the rectangular space with an arrow in the center "Add multiple XXX", drag your file. The format should be Excel (.xls and .xlsx or .csv).
A pop-up window will appear confirming the number of imported rows.
Remarks
- If you do it via an Excel document then you have to add the link where the image is hosted in the column: avatar_path
- If the photos of the speakers are not hosted on a secure site: https: //
so you need to import your list first, then add the photos manually - It is not possible to add images to an Excel for import
- The photos you want to add to the contributors must be square : dimensions 180 x 180 pixels and in .png format.
- All links you include must have "https://". This is the same for the Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter. Be careful for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, "@username" doesn't work.
- To put a contributor in a calendar session, feel free to edit the contributors one by one and customize then "Link to a agenda session".
- The system does not automatically class speakers in alphabetical order. If you want to rank your list use the "Rank" column of the document. Start the count at "0" then 1,2,3 ...
