With Eventdrive, you can create a custom registration form for your events, making it easier to collect information and manage registrations.
Thanks to the Event custom fields, you can design forms tailored to the specific needs of each of your events, offering you great flexibility in gathering precise and relevant data about your attendees.
The event Event custom fields are located on the left side of your screen, below the Attendee fields.
Different types of fields are available to collect answers in various formats.
- Single-line text / Multi-line text
The single-line text field allows for a brief response to be entered on a single line, ideal for concise answers. This type of field helps limit the amount of text to avoid overly long responses.
Here are some use cases: employee ID, region of residence, legal entity.
⚠️ This type of field should not be used to collect informations such as guests +1's
identity.
The multi-line text field is used for more detailed responses or those requiring multiple sentences.
This type of field can be used for open-ended questions where attendees can write a description or express expectations.
Here are some use cases: collecting feedback or specific requests related to the event.
Here's an example of a single-line text field:
- Single choice
The single choice field allows attendees to select only one option from various provided, ensuring that only one answer is given for the question.
Here are some use cases: asking attendees about their transportation mode, whether they need a parking spot or their clothing size.
⚠️ Do not use the single choice field to confirm the attendee's presence at the event.

Various options are available for configuring the information to be entered for the single choice field:
Answers alignment:
You can align your answers either vertically or horizontally in your registration form.
Add answer:
To add an answer to your question, simply click on Add answer at the bottom of the selected field.
A box labeled Answer 1 will appear below. Enter your answer inside the box.
To add another answer, click Add an answer again. Repeat this process as many times as necessary to add as many answers as desired.
Add conditional sub-questions:
Adding a conditional sub-question to a question helps clarify and personalize the answers, enhancing the participant’s experience.
This also facilitates the collection of relevant data and the subsequent analysis of the information.
⚠️ It is not possible to add a second level of questions to a sub-question.

- Multiple Choice Field
The multiple choice field allows attendees to select multiple answers from a predefined list.
This format is useful when several answers may be correct or relevant, giving attendees the flexibility to choose the ones that apply to their situation.
Here are some examples of use cases: scheduling appointments, selecting topics to address.
It is possible to specify a certain number of allowed answers for the attendee using the options The attendee must choose exactly, at least, at most, or between X choice(s).
⚠️ By selecting a number greater than or equal to 1, the question becomes mandatory.
