With Eventdrive, you can create a customized registration form for your events, making it easier to collect information and manage registrations.
How to set up an event custom field in my registration form?
Once your registration form is created and the questions are selected, you just need to adjust the settings of each question according to your needs.
To do this, simply click on the arrow on the right of the question title to open its settings.
Next to the right of the arrow to access the settings of your question, you can also duplicate the question.
You can also delete it by clicking on the trash can icon on the far right.
Below, you will find the various settings available for your question:
1. Field Type:
The Field Type refers to the types of questions available depending on the information you want to collect in your registration form.

2. Displayed For:
The Displayed For option allows you to display the question either to All attendees, Main attendees only, Guests only, or Main attendees, inherited by guests.

3. Your question:
Insert your question here.
4. Column name:
You can export your collected data to Excel.
The column name will correspond to the question and will appear in the export.
⚠️ Please make sure not to insert any spaces or special characters.
5. Helper text:
The helper text allows you to add an explanatory note to your question to make it easier to understand the expected answer.
6. Mandatory:
Check this box to make answering the question mandatory to submit the form.
7. Are you asking you for sensitive information:
Collecting sensitive data in a registration form means gathering personal information that requires strict protection to ensure the attendees confidentiality.
Sensitive information will be automatically deleted the day after the event ends in order to comply with GDPR European law.
8. Answers alignment:
This setting applies only to the single choice field. It allows you to align the answers either vertically or horizontally.
