The "Moderator" role provides access to the moderation platform and the management of interactivities added to your event.
How to assign the Moderator role?
The Moderator role can be assigned to an event manager or to an attendee.
The role assignement is possible in the Invite -> Attendees menu, under the "Main Role" column in the attendee list.
If the column is not visible in the list, you must display it using the "Views" button.
What permissions are granted to a Moderator?
Moderation during the live session:
The moderator can:

Start the live session

Turn on their camera, microphone, and share their screen

Launch a pre-recorded video and a PDF file
-
Delete messages in the chat
-
Kick out and ban an attendee
-
Approve attendees’ requests to speak
-
Turn off presenters’ and attendees’ cameras and microphones

Change the size of the presenter thumbnails
When multiple live sessions are configured,a user can be a moderator for a sole session,
without having access to the others.
Moderation of interactive services:
The moderator can access the event moderation panel by using the shortcuts menu in Eventdrive's Back-Office.
For the Q&A/Tag Cloud service, the moderator can:

Open/close the services

Approve attendees' content (messages, photos, etc.)

Edit attendees' content

Delete/archive attendees' content

Display content on the Event Wall

Push questions to the animator

Comment and like content

Send messages to the Timeline
For the Vote/Quiz service, the moderator can:

Open/close the services

Display vote results on the Event Wall

Display questions in the event app (switch rounds)

Display the podium

Reset results
For Surveys, the moderator can:

Archive results
For the Timeline, the moderator can:

Add messages or photos

Archive previously displayed messages
Using the Broadcast interface, the moderator can:

Send messages to be displayed in the app
