The deliverability of emails depends on two main factors:
- The content of the email
- The reputation of the server and email domain name
The Content of the Mail
Anti-spam systems can analyze the content of emails. That is why it is important to follow some good practices.
- Do not write the text content of the email in images. The text must be typed,
- Do not insert images that are too large: the recommended width is 1200 pixels, and the maximum weight of each image is 200 Kb,
- Limit the number of links contained in the e-mail (if possible less than three),
- Do not insert links that redirect to sites which category or risk level is dangerous (e.g. file transfer site),
- Do not send text content or heavy attachments (> 4 MB) that could be interpreted as malicious (e.g. inappropriate or agressive marketing terminology, excel macros...),
- Send test emails, contact your IT and Eventdrive support if you identify any issue.

Reputation
If the reputation of the domain name used to send your Emails is bad then the delivery of will not be guaranteed. For example if this domain is used to send spam. Similarly, if the sending server is used to relay spam this will have a detrimental effect on the delivery of emails to participants.
At Eventdrive we are keen to keep an excellent sender reputation.
⚠️ To take it a step further, some of our customers choose to send emails with a
domain name of their own (ie. not @eventdrive.com).
Contact us at csm@eventdrive.com to set this up.
