Some events are held regularly throughout the year. The best way to manage these types of events is to duplicate it. You can also duplicate an existing event to have a base for your next event, if you are not using the event templates feature.
Here is how to duplicate your event.
Step 1 :
On the "DASHBOARD", find the event you wish to copy. Use the Search tool within your "Event list" to easily find your event.
Step 2
Click on the option button on the far right of your event. Select "Duplicate" from the drop down menu.
Step 3
Fill in your new event information (event name, starting and ending dates, event owners, etc.).
Remark:
3 elements are not copied when an event is duplicated:
- The participant list will not be copied. A participant list contains personal data that cannot be copied from one event to another. You must import a new list for your new event (you can export attendee information from a prior event).
- Videos that are uploaded for your sessions in your live event are not duplicated.
- Sessions in the event agenda no longer have the Live Streaming option enabled.
