With Eventdrive, create a branded event website by easily customizing predefined templates for a consistent brand experience.
How to choose a pre-configured theme?
In the menu Invite → Website → Design, you will find themes offered by Eventdrive, themes created by the managers of this event, and themes created by members of your organization.
Themes are pre-configured websites with different layouts. Some highlight the header, the menu, or concentrate all the content on the homepage.
How to save my custom website theme?
At the bottom right of the page, you will have the option (depending on your permissions) to save your pre-configuration for this event and for the organization. If you do not have the ability to do so, contact the organization owner so they can grant you this permission.
Advanced options to customize your website.
Custom images:
For optimal quality, respect the image resolutions indicated directly in the tool.
Avoid images containing text. The banner adapts to the screen size, and your text could be cut off or poorly displayed.
Customize my website's colors:
In the "Custom Layout & Colors" section, each field modifies a specific element of your site (menu, buttons, texts, etc.). To choose a color, you can either:
Directly paste its code (HEX or RGB) into the field. Click on the square to use the visual selector.
In this selector:
- The vertical bar adjusts the hue.
- The bottom horizontal slider sets the transparency (opacity).
Use transparency to overlay a color on a background image while keeping it visible.
Layout options:
Structure your site's appearance using the settings available in the "Custom Layout & Colors" tab.
-
Header: This is the first thing your visitors see. The "Display, hero banner" option creates a large, full-width welcome banner at the top of your page.
It's ideal for displaying a powerful image that represents your event. - Footer: Like the header, this option defines how the banner at the bottom of your site is displayed.
- Full width: The background of your footer will stretch across the entire width of the screen.
- Centered: The footer will align with the width of your main content, creating margins on the sides.
- List layout: This option changes how your speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, or documents are displayed.
- List: The items are presented one below the other, in a single column.
- Grid: The items are distributed over several columns, like a gallery.
- Logo: You can choose to place your logo "in the header" (usually next to the event title) or "above the header," which will display it in a thin bar at the very top of the page for maximum visibility.
Why are some options grayed out?
Some options only become available if another option is selected first.
Example: The menu must be positioned "At the top" to be able to activate the "hero banner" option, because this type of banner needs the full width of the page to be displayed correctly.
