With Eventdrive, you can send push notifications to inform your participants.
To be able to send push notifications, you must have a native application i.e. Available on the Apple & Android stores. If this is the case, follow the steps below to program them all.
In the admin tool, got to " Shortcuts " at the top right. Then click on "Moderation" to have access to the moderation platform.
Click on the service "Broadcast", then on "Push notification" at the top right of the page.
The text box named "Title" by default states the name of your event, you can change it if you want.
Enter the text you want in the "Your message" box.
Duplicate the contents of your push message on to the news feed of your event by checking the "Add message to timeline" option.
If necessary, you can target the service when opening the push and thus, directly redirect your participant. To do this, click on "Target a service" and select the service desired in the drop-down menu.
Eg. "please complete the satisfaction questionnaire". Redirect users to the relevant survey.
Click "Send push notification".
Schedule all your notifications from the moderation platform. To access it, click on "Shortcuts" then "Moderation".
From the moderation platform, go to "Broadcast" then "Push notification".
Choose to duplicate your message in the news feed of your event if necessary.
Opt for redirection with a targeted service if necessary.
Your push notification will be sent on the day and at the time you specify.
If the schedule changes, you can change the push notification up to 10 minutes before it is sent by clicking on it. Once the notification is updated, click the "Save" button.
All your scheduled notifications appear at the bottom in chronological order of sending. The pushes already sent are grayed out and cannot be modified.
Think about writing a schedule with all your notifications to see them more clearly. It's an efficient way to communicate with your guests!
We recommend that you do not exceed 255 characters so that the participant can read the content of the notification in one go. We are not dependent on the number of characters displayed per phone manufacturer.
Do not overuse push notifications and limit yourself to a maximum of 8 per day, at the risk of tiring your participants!
