With Eventdrive, you have the ability to customize the attributes of every budget in your organization.
Once configured, these elements will be available for all budgets created by your users, enabling you to ensure the consistency of the information collected.
Navigate to your organization’s administration interface, then choose Manage → Budget Settings to modify them.
The settings are organized into five tabs:
The Categories tab
The Categories tab enables you to add the headings used to classify expense‑ or revenue‑line items.
These categories allow the corresponding charts to be displayed on each budget’s dashboard.
Example categories:
Venue rental, catering, host/hostess staff, agency, furniture rental, decoration, technical services, insurance, giveaways.
Each category has its own tax (VAT) rate.
The Status tab
The Statuses tab lets you configure the lifecycle states of your expense‑ or revenue‑line items.
Example statuses
Awaiting quotation, purchase order received, deposit paid, awaiting payment, invoiced.
The suppliers tab
The Suppliers tab allows you to add your company’s regular vendors, associate contacts with them, and sort them by category.
The Validators tab
The Validators tab is used to designate the individuals responsible for approving budgets.
To add a new approver, click Create validator and complete the required fields.
The cost center tab
The cost center tab lets you add the entire entities to which you wish to allocate your expense or revenue line items.
Notes
These settings apply to the entire organization and are available for all of its events.
If you are unable to modify these settings, please contact an organization administrator so that the necessary permissions can be granted.
