With Eventdrive, you can broadcast a pre-recorded video during your Live so that attendees feel like they're watching a live broadcast, even though the content was actually recorded beforehand (a speech, a teaser...).

How do I add my pre-recorded video to the Live session?
Before the Live, go to the LIVE STREAMING tab > Live Sessions, click on your event, then on "Add a new file".
A pop-up will open with several options: Upload PDF, Upload video, Video web address (URL), or YouTube. Select "Upload video" to add your pre-recorded video.

How do I log in to the Live as a presenter or moderator?
On the day of your event, only someone set as moderator or presenter in the participant list (Invite > Participants menu) can launch the Live and play a video. Go to the Live link, then click on "You are speaker / moderator?" at the bottom of the page.
Fill in your name and access code, then leave the "Start video" and "Start audio" checkboxes unchecked before clicking "Join the event".

How do I launch the Live?
Once logged in, click the red "You are not live" button at the top of the screen, then click "Go live". The button turns green and reads "You are live": the Live is now being broadcast to your attendees.
⚠️ At least one moderator must stay connected to the Live for its entire duration.
If no moderator remains connected, the Live will automatically end.

How do I launch the video so the broadcast looks truly live?
Once the Live is launched, click the film icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the Live interface, then click your video's name to launch it.
For attendees not to notice it's a pre-recorded video, the person launching it must turn off their camera and microphone before starting it.
⚠️ Remember to turn off your camera and microphone before starting the video.
If either one stays on, attendees may see or hear you in the background,
which would reveal that it isn't a real live broadcast.
