With Eventdrive, you can energize your events with various interactivities.
A vote is a service that puts your attendees at the heart of the decision-making process. Use the vote during your event to gather your guests’ opinions on different topics.
The vote service is structured as follows:
-
One or more lists
-
One or more rounds
-
One or more questions
-
Predefined answers for each question
-
-
-
The lists
A list groups your different rounds and questions into a single menu that you can add to your application.
For example, you can create several lists to launch votes at different times during your event.
A list is equal to a vote
The rounds
Rounds allow you to structure your vote and control when questions appear.
Creating multiple rounds lets you divide questions display within each round on the application.
Example: If you want to display questions one by one, it's best to create one round per question. Attendees will answer the vote questions one after another.
The questions
Add as many questions as you like within a round.
We recommend allowing enough time for attendees to pick up their phones and respond to each question.
The answers
The vote service allows you to create single-choice (SCQ) and multiple-choice (MCQ) questions. Attendees cannot enter free text in a vote; you must define answers in advance. They will then be able to select one or more answers, following your settings.
Tips
- To gather a meaningful participation rate, it’s recommended to give attendees enough time to vote. Otherwise, it may lead to frustration and discourage them from engaging.
- If you provide a large number of answers (around 10), be aware that in live configuration and broadcast, it may be hard for attendees to read everything clearly.
