What is Lead Generator and why use it?
Lead capture is a feature that allows your exhibitors to enrich their database directly on site. It makes it easier to collect participants’ contact details and to follow up on interactions.
Prerequisites
To be able to use the Scan & Notes service, you must:
Have a native application available on the iOS and/or Android stores and/or on your internal store.
The Scan & Notes (Lead Gen) service does not work on web applicationsYour event must be linked to an application (from the menu Info -> Main information)
Registration: Both exhibitors and participants at your event must be registered for the event and be included in the participant list
Your participants must have received a QR code (via email, badge, or within the application) for check-in, issued by Eventdrive
How to configure Lead Generator (Event manager Side)
The first step is to link the Mobile app to your event from the menu Info -> Main Info. To activate and manage Lead Generator, you must:
Go to the Interactivity menu.
Then in the App sub-menu.
Click on the Scan & Notes tab.
From this interface, you will be able to:

Activate the Lead Generator feature.
Authorize groups of attendees to Scan other attendees' QR codes.
Export data collected by your exhibitors.
Authorize exhibitors to export their own data themselves without going through you.
Usage on the application (Exhibitor Side)
To use Lead Generator, the exhibitor must go to your event's Mobile app. Once logged in, they can access the feature via the Scan & Notes button.
Here are the possible actions:
Scan attendee QR codes to instantly retrieve their attendee details.
Display previously scanned attendees
Add a personalized note to the attendee details.
Keep the history with the exact date and time of the scan.
Export the data you scanned if you have the permissions.
Advanced function :
Cross-event history:
An exhibitor scanning the same person at two different events will be able to see the personalized note they wrote the previous time.
User export:
When exhibitors export data from the application interface, they receive an email containing an Excel spreadsheet including the following information:
