When an attendee registers to your event, they fill in, themselves, the personal data you asked for within your registration form.
The GDPR norm ensures your attendee that their data stay personal. It is therefore impossible for another person, the event owners included, to modify these pieces of information.
All this data can be modified only the said attendee:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
- Job title
- Website URL
- Facebook URL
- LinkedIn URL
- Twitter URL
There are two possibilities for this data to be changed.
- The attendee hasn't taken possession of their account yet through the registration form or the app. In this case, you can modify their personal data from the back-office.
- The attendee has already taken possession of their account. They will be the one able to modify their data. We invite you to get in touch with your attendee and ask them to return to the registration form or the app to add/modify themselves the desired data.
You can still modify all the personalized fields linked to your registration form, such as their time of arrival for instance. We strongly advise you to let your attendees change their answers by themselves though.
- If your event is included in an event group, hence appears within a multi-event app for your attendees, the data modification will be applicable for all the events linked to this event group. It will be possible only for your attendee if they have already logged in your app.
- Sensitive data filled by your attendees (Food restrictions, disabled access, etc.) are automatically purged 24h after the end of your event. Click here for more information about the purge of personal data
